I need to highlight all the data on a worksheet, which other users will enter so it grows fairly rapidly ie end>down then end right ?

Hi Nigel,
view toolbars customise commands catagories = edit commands : scroll down to the end select current region drag the "select current region" icon into your toolbar - it looks like a squashed spider close now just click on any cell anywhere which has data in it and then click on your new icon.... it will highlight the full extent of your data, with your down-most row and right-most columns being highlighted

also....
edit goto reference = your dynamic range name where you have previously set up a dynamic named range for your data a good example of setting up a dynamic named range (ie a range of cells which is named, but also shrinks and expands according to additions or deletions) is here : http://www.mrexcel.com/board/viewtop...c=3756&forum=2
