Anyone out there know Pivot tables?

I am lousy at pivot tables so I need your help. The table appears as follows:

A1...Sum of Net_Bushels C1...COM D1...NET
c2...01 D2...02 F2...11 G2...73
A3...VenName B3...VenNumb C3...P D3...P E3...S F3...P G3...P
A4-B1157...Vendor names and numbers
C4-G1157...numbers of bushels (not all cells are filled in)
A1158-G1158 are totals

Fields are: VenName, VenNumb, Com, Net, Net_Bushels

The table is presently sorted alphabetically ascending by VenName. We need to re-sort this table by the bushels in column C, numerically and descending. Advanced sort on the pivot table won't work.

What am I doing wrong?

Maybe I can help you but your 'table' does not make much sense to me.

Can you explain again perhaps?

Maybe someone can suggest to you how to put your table via HTML so that we know what you are talking about.

Also, what table are you talking about there, is that the table of data you are basing your pivot table on or is that the actual pivot table you are talkin about?

Thanks to you for your help. After trying every trick I could today, "they" have decided not to change the way it is. Therefore, I am not going to stress over this anymore!
