Im trying to find out if there is a formula or someway that if I put a Dollar amount in one cell that it would convert it to words onto another cell

if the dollar is in g19
=IF(G19="$","Dollar","No Dollar") put the formula in g20 or any othe cell [ This Message was edited by: brettvba on 2002-04-30 13:41 ] |

Just to be complete, the following post from Harlan Grove does the reverse -- from words to numbers.
