Simple project Protection

I have a single sheet workbook that has just a couple of basic macros to save and export to CSV. I don't want anyone to be able to view or modify these macros but when I try to protect them by locking the project it causes a runtime error 1004.

Any Ideas

are you protecting the macros?
or the worksheets?

to protect the macros go to vba project properties

I am trying to prevent access to the VB code
ie when you press Alt-F11 then click on the project, I don't want it to display anything other than the password entry box
