I have a list of times:
8:05 8:05 8:05 8:05 5:40 When I sum these it comes back with 14, but it should be 38. Please help! |

Change the format of the summation cell to Custom> [h]:mm:ss

Excel has calculated 38 but it shows the time formating being 38-24hrs = 14
If you have another cell which = then sum of your times *24 It will give you 38. Excel treats Times as a fraction of a day. To see reformat your dates as numbers and they will all show as 0.33 approx.
