Is there a way to change the text on a tab based on a formula in the worksheet and is there a way to color code tabs?

Don't think you can change the colour of the tab, but to change the name use :
Worksheets("sheet1").Name = "new name" |

You can only change the tab color in Lotus and the XP version of Excel. For excel, right-click on the tab, and color (or something along those lines) should be an option.
