Go to the Homepage MrExcel has a sponsor..something like Excel recovery that offers this.

I did a serach on "forget unprotect" and scrolled down to "I forget my password and need to unprotect my workbook!"

There is a simple macro to get it

Really? I know that if the target is the spreadsheet, then a simple macro is Ok. Is this also true for VBAProject?? They use the same encription algorithm??? What's that Macro? Thx.

guys have posted VBA to do this and ive tried it with 3 letters PW and yes it cracks but long say 10 letters will take an age....

search for the code was about last week i recall..

all have 66 and 69 in the code and i gave very heavy techi links and input into how this works... very intresting...
