I have a list of zip codes in a column, there are ones with the extra 4 digits, how do you sort putting these with extra digits into proper order?

Simple idea: 1) add another column next to the zip codes lets say B 2) In B1 put =LEFT(A1,5) and drag this formula until last row of codes 3) Now sort on B 4) Delete row B Regards, Eli |
