How can I split the Y axis to skip over contiuous data and just show the top and bottom values?

The only way I know is to click "Window", select "New Window", select "Arrange", select "Horizontal". Now youve got 2 views of the same sheet.
Then do "Windows", "Freeze Panes" in the top file to freeze the top section and use the bottom file see the bottom. Work in the top file. Crufty I know. You can't "freeze panes" and "split" at the same time unfortunately. |

I don't think my last question was clear. I am wondering how to split the axis on a chart in excel. I am trying to graph the max, min and average , but the max and min are so far apart that you can't see the average.
