Pasting into Powerpoint

When I paste a spreadsheet from Excel into PowerPoint, above a certain size, cells on the right are clipped. And yes I have tried resizing the paste window.

The only way I can show the entire spreadsheet is to paste as a bitmap!!!!

There must be another way?????

Any ideas???

Did you try pasting as Excel worksheet object.
Or try this camera utility

I am having the same problem with an excel worksheet. I have tried pasting as an Excel Object Worksheet and using the camera. Neither of these options have worked for me. The paste screen always cuts off the end of the sheet. Does anyone have any other advice???

How large is the worksheet?

After pasting, are you resizing in PowerPoint?

I tried the Camera utility mentioned by Brian from Maui. It's pretty cool, but doesn't seem to refresh after being pasted into Powerpoint. I changed data in the original worksheet, but the new data wasn't reflected in the Powerpoint image. It works (refreshes) perfectly in another Excel workbook, though.

Chartman,

I don't think the camera utility was meant to copy, paste and refresh into PowerPoint. Although, I have used it to copy and paste into a PowerPoint presentation.. Copy and Paste the old fashioned way should work. It is however a COOL utility in Excel.

Tracking all comments, but no luck. The paste still cuts off the last few columns!!!!

The size of the spreadsheet is 15 wide x 70 deep.

No matter how I try and re-size, I can never display the complete width.

This problem exists when I paste into word as well.

The 'only' palative appears to be the dreaded paste as bitmap!!!!!

Exactly what steps are you taking or doing? Someone else may have an idea here.

Are you highlighting the rows and columns, click copy, go to the PowerPoint slide, then click paste?

Powerpoint also lets you jump to your sheet by actually starting excel. This can be done with an action button. I have found this way of showing an excel worksheet as part of a powerpoint presentation works very well. Is this an option for you?
