How do I use Visual Basic code?
This may seem a strange question to those who are used to Excel, but to me it is a mystery. I know about syntax and structure from the help files and from previous Basic usage on my old 8-bit Amstrad. So I can write the code. But how the hell do you USE the code once you have wriiten it? I have spent hours and hours and hours trying to understand how to install and use Visual Basic code into my Excel applications, but I am damned if I can find out how. So all you clever and experienced guys out there, how about helping this damsel in distress before she gives up programming for needlework and places some Semtex under her computer........not being able to put some under good old Bill G!! |

Try creating a "command button" from the "toolbox" and the right clicking on the button and "Assign macro". Then point to the procedure you wish to start your macro.
Hope this gets you started. If not look in the help files for "macros, buttons". That should get you started. Regards and Good luck! |
