Printing Checkboxes Accurately

This is making me crazy,

Whenever I an object, specifically check-boxes, the size and position I see on the screen are irrelevant to what prints, even if I zoom in. I can make 5 checkboxes, all exactly the same(cut and paste), review the properties to make sure they are exactly aligned, but when I print preview, or print, they come out random sizes and positions, and even the fonts inside don't look the same. Help!

er, I meant to say insert an object, sorry.
