First Time User: Automatic Spread Sheet Update

I am preparing a spread sheet that includes 5 workbooks. The data consists of numbers.

I'm trying to build the spread sheet so when I update cells in workbooks 2 thru 5, the workbook 1 cells change correspondingly.

Any ideas? Thank you.

suggest linking the relavant cells with
='Sheet2'!A1

this will go in sheet 1

this weill work if one cell dat from each sheet only in one cell ie 5 cols for dta from each sheet, not all 5 in one cell
