I need some help please...
My problem is I have 3 seperate sheets(each used for a different action), each with cols a-c the same: name, date, rating. there are approx. 50 names each appearing more than once. On sheet 4 i want to be able to summerise each of the 3 sheets for one individual.so cols a-g name, sheet1 date & rating, sheet2 date & rating, sheet3 date & rating. have tried vlookups but with one indivdual appearing a different number times on each sheet occuring on various dates. I have hit the wall and Need HELP!!! Cheers |

Hi
A HillBilly that says cheers? Smiley here >>> <<< Don't know how to insert it. Anyway, I am fairly new to functions, but I do not think you can use 3D ranges with a VlookUp??? It would not be difficult to use a macro to solve this. Using one sheet as a key, so to speak, you could rundown the names and pick them off the other sheets, while adding them to the summary sheet. I would like to see your workbook, if possible, before I try and spin a code example. If not, I will wait and see if someone else can provide you with an alternative solution.
