Duplicate entries

I need to merge 2 documents. When I do, there will be duplicate entries. What is the easiest and most accurate way to eliminate the duplicated entries?

If both worksheets has the same column headings/labels (fields in the database terminology), I'd import them from within Access into the same table, then export the table to Excel. All duplicate records will be eliminated as result.

Use Excel's Data | Get External Data | Create New Query... menu commmand to treat each Named Range as a separate table (e.g., Table1 and Table2) using the Excel ODBC driver and a SQL statement such as...

SELECT Table1.Field1
FROM Table1 Table1
UNION
SELECT Table2.Field1
FROM Table2 Table2

I suspected that much after that contrib of yours a few days ago. It's about time I install that driver .
