I have a worksheet that was exported into excel. The numbers in this worksheet are text and I'd like to convert them to numbers. I've used the =value() formula when converting a cell or two, but I'm looking for an easier way to convert the spreadsheet from text to values. Any ideas?
Thanks! _________________ Rita~~ "Baseball is like church, many attend, few understand." Leo Durocher [ This Message was edited by: LuvlyRitaa on 2002-05-07 17:25 ] |

(before doing this, make sure ALL cells are formatted as general or number)
Put a 1 into a blank cell. Right click that cell, goto copy. Highlight the range of text that you want to be converted to values. Right click the highlighted range, select paste special. Then, select values and multiply. Click ok. |
