What book would you recommend for a beginner. I've made real simple spreadsheets but I would like to run through tutorials (real life type applications).

Well, I just reread the faq (can I get vba to insert this in my brain?), and I didn't see any such rule
.Perhaps we should propose this rule (although as an MVP, perhaps you can declare it). In all seriousness, I'm a lazy bugger, it's easy to re-link, and they're good links (including MrExcel links). Nah, referencing your own post is not the problem. Calling him "JIM" Walkenbach rather than John, and then referencing the post *IS* the problem.
