I have five values in separate cells, I find the maximum value. I want to display a word dependant on which is the MAX, instead of the MAX itself.
Also if two cells are equal MAX I need to display two words. |

G'day,
I'm not sure on the exact output you're looking for. If you have 2 equal max values in the range do you want a formula to output the text "MaxMax"? What if there are 3 equal max values? Can you give us some further detail? Adam |

I don't want to display MAX, I just meant it to be short for maximum sorry!
Let's say there are five shops, I add up the weekly figures, find the shop with the highest sales, but instead of displaying the figure, I want to display the name of the shop. If two shops have equal sales I need two names displayed. Thanks |

But what if three are equal or all five for that matter. Have you considered sort or rank?
