I have a spreadsheet of about 500 rows and additional rows are inserted every now and then. To make it easier to read when printed off, I want to shade alternate rows. Any idea how to do this - except manually?
Thanks, Lisa (UK) |

Highlight your area. Choose conditional formatting from the format menu. Change the drop down box to formula.
enter the formula =MOD(ROW(),2)=0 and select what color you want to highlight from the patterns tab. good luck Quote:
