Is it possible to include a workbook in a powerpoint presentation that also allows it to run macros etc. Thanks

I copied a section of a spreadsheet which had a macro button on it, and then pasted it into powerpoint. Powerpoint was quite prepared to run the macro when I clicked the button, but only after I had agreed to open the spreadsheet in a separate window. Is this the kind of thing you are trying to do? Can you give some more details of what you are trying to do and why?

Perhaps, but only if the Excel file is linked and not embedded.

All ive done is copied it over straight so it ends up like a picture. You cant interact with it at all. It just skips onto next slide. I was just looking for a way that powerpoint would let u interact with spreadsheet while running presentation. Thanks
