Is their a shorcut key for flicking between sheets in a workbook similar to the alt tab for flicking between programs.

Ctrl+PageUp/Down

Between Books:
Ctrl+F6 and Shift+Ctrl+F6

look for Shortcuts in the help files you'll find bleedin tons of em!
