Sumif Function - For MrExcel

Im trying to use the sumif function where the criteria is a condition, rather than a number. For example, I want the criteria to be >(A1+A2). Is there a way to do this using this or another function?

=SUMIF(Range1,">"&SUM(A1:A2),Range2)

should do, where Range1 and Range2 are not necessarily different ranges.
