I am trying to find a way to conditionally format an entire row in a spreadsheet to a specific color highlight. The data in each column is different. Is there a way to set up a "code" in a column, such as "1", "2", etec that would condtionally format the entire row. Or is there another way to do this?

Conditional Formatting will work for up to three conditions. If you need more, it will require code. Please post an example of your data.

You can't post a file, per se, to this board but if you can tell us what colour you require row 5 or row 7 and on what basis it is coloured that particular colour, we can probably help out a bit more
ie : if my amount in column G is ever = 100 then the whole row should be a blue background or if the row number is odd, I want a grey background whilst if the row number is even then I want it to stay as it is that sort of thing
