cell colors

is there an easy way to look at two columns of numbers "A and B" and if A is greater change the cell color to yellow and B to red and vice versa?

Use conditional formatting. There has been a lot of posts here recently about this topic, so if you do a search you should find lots of help.

What specific event is to trigger the changing of the color in the columns?
