Out of no where my default calculation setting has been changed to Manual when I open a new workbook.
I can change individual workbooks back to automatic - but want my default to be reset to automatic. Can you help? Thanks, |

Go to your menu, tools->options->calculation, click the automatic option.
Sounds like someone wrote some sloppy code, not returning your setting when complete... |

Thanks Nate -
I have tried that and it does keep individual workbooks as automatic - but when I close Excel and re-open it the blank "Book1" is reset back to Manual. So I may have a file somewhere that is causing this to happen in the background? |
