Trying to create a simple database within a sheet with a scroll box in the centre of the screen that views say five records of the database. Can freeze the top part of the sheet for all the headings etc but want to do the same below the displayed data and display some summary calculations there. Can this be done.

Mhmmm... how about creating two windows ? you can arrange them to "look" like the bottom is always visible..

Yes...Thanks......but I was hoping that I could do this thing in the middle of the screen, mainly for visual presentation I suppose. Then I could dress up all sorts of calculations above and below and even on the sides.

You could always setup a separate sheet or a separate area on the same sheet to look as you wish by refering to the data you want to present.
Just use borders, formatting, ect... Would not be difficult. Tom |
