Forgive me for asking a question that I could have likely found the answer to by searching the previous posts, however, in my defense, I got an odd SQL error when I tried to search.
I would like excel to automatically insert a footer into each new workbook as soon as I open one. I know this can be done, and it involves the personal.xls and auto run or open, I just am not sure about exactly how to make it work. Thanks! |

You can create an empty workbook with the desired footer and save it as Book.xlt into your XLStart folder. See the Excel Help topic for "Customize the defaults for a workbook or worksheet by using a template".

The SQL error you are incountering is due to your search being to broad. make sure that if you use multiple words in your search than you check the "search for ALL of the terms".
