Splitting Workbook

I have created an excel workbook that has pages for each month, January 2001 through December 2002, with information listed already on the individual pages. What I wanted to know how to do is to "split" the book into two books, dividing January 2001 - December 2001 in one book and January 2002 - Dec 2002 in another.

Maybe you are asking for something more complicated, but here goes.

Save the workbook as a different name.
Delete Jan 2002-Dec 2002 from one workbook.
Delete Jan 2001-Dec 2001 from the other.

Did I miss something?

Edit/Move or Copy Sheet/Move to new workbook

1. Shift+click the worksheet tabs for 2001
2. Right+click any of the selected tabs...
3. ...and, choose Move or Copy... from the popup menu
4. Set "To book" field to (new book) and press [ OK ].
