My excel will not keep the printer default tray setup. The printer was originally set for tray 2. Now I've changed the default to 3 from the control panel and in excel it is still pointing to tray 2. Is there some type of reset in excel?
Thanks, David |

Maybe try changing settings in
-Toolbar --File ----Properties -----Paper Source

Some applications will use the settings exactly as they are in the printer folder. Others will maintain the settings exactly as you last chose them in that particular application.
There are advantages and disadvantages to each type. I prefer the application remembering which printer I printed to last, so I can routinely print to a printer other than my default for that application. The fix is simply to change the printer within Excel, as shown in the response above. Hope that helps, Philip |

It was a saving issue, it kept the tray number from the last save.
Thanks for the help everyone. [ This Message was edited by: Daslarsen on 2002-05-13 13:18 ] |
