Hi,
I'm trying to create a simple link from one workbook to another and when I try to do this I cannot click the target cell. Any ideas on why this is happening? Cheers |

I've seen this in very large workbooks, glitch. Try clicking on a different cell and clicking over to the cell (using arrows) or manually re-writing the formula. You should still be able to grab the data.

Yes, thanks......I did that work around...
Any idea what causes it, is it a memory thing? |

That's my guess, seeing as I've only noticed it with the very large workbooks. I suspect it has more to do with Excel's interpretation of RAM than Windows though.

Chances are the sheet is protected, and the developer has featured the EnableSelection property xlNoSelection two other options are xlNoRestrictions, and xlUnlockedCells _________________ Yogi Anand Edit: Deleted inactive web site reference from hard code signature line [ This Message was edited by: Yogi Anand on 2003-01-19 17:15 ] |

Good thinking Yogi.
Not in my case, but perhaps in Gideon's. I think in my case the file ended up being corrupted. _________________ Cheers, NateO ![]() [ This Message was edited by: nateo on 2002-05-13 17:51 ] |
