I need to categorize a list of 800 businesses. i want to seperate ones that state "construction" anywere in their name, and place them on another worksheet. I have done something similar to this before, but I do not recall how. Thanks

Greetings,
A quick but manual approach would be to use an auto-filter. You can do a custom filter/contains "contruction". Then just do a quick copy/paste the range over. Adam |

When you apply an autofilter, there is a custom option "contains". That means that if you had a cells with entries like: "14b construction site" would also show.
