I need to chart a series of values consecutively - even if the values are in different cells.
If I insert values in A1:A5 it will chart it in on line. But if i want to chart A1:B5 on one line chart, it gives me two. I know the formula is in the Data series, but I don't know how to do it. Please Help! |

Carson,
should be fairly straightforward. Say you want to plot a1 to a5 and b6 to b10 on the same line. select the total area as you would normally for using charts. Click on the chart button, select 'Line as the chart type. Click next. in the series tab, select 'values'. You can then select prcisely the area you need with the mouse, holding down the control key. Remove the unwanted series... Hope this helps. Paddy Hope this |
