Skipping Down to Print

What comand can I use in conjunction with a Do Until EOF loop to drop down a previously determined number of records in a file that's open for Output before it overwrites that record?

Isn't there "linenumber" property somewhere? I would test this if I had Excel here.

I guess the better question is, is there a pointer in a DOS file and then how do you move it?
