Refresh Pivot Table

Hi, I just joined this msg board, nice to meet you guys.

My problem here is i have a pivot table linked to an external database. the data in the database change periodically. as i know, i need to refresh the pivot table everytime in order to update the changes in the database. how can i refresh the pivot table automatically everytime i open the excel worksheet? use macro or is there any other way? Thanks in advance.
