extracting from a single cell

I have the following strings starting in cell A1 thru to A5:

Stevens,John,20,421 Poster av,Loftus
Smith,Kate,30,153 Matin pl,Bexley
Farchi,Paul,35,54 HappyMeal ln,Hurstville
Ng,Simon,35,23 Sky rd,Loftus
Rorris,Vickey,40,11 Bellview Hw,Lotus

I would like to extract the data in the following manner:

Stevens, in cell b1, john in cell C1 etc etc.

Likewise I would like have the ability to run this from VB, it would be appreciated if anyone can help with my question thanks

With the macro recorder on, do it by going to Tools>TextToColumns
