Template page setup doesn't carry over

Hello, I have a template with the page setup specified as "landscape", but when a opened based on the template, it prints as "portrait".

How can I fix this problem?

It works in Excel 2K SR-1 on my machine when I save a file as a template, close it. Then hit File-New and double-click the template. It's still landscape.
