ok..here is the problem
I have a workbook about 30Mb ..my application has to create a replica of this workbook and then delete unwanted data.. So in essence, there will be 2 workbooks of 60 Mb lying around.. It has been behaving very erratically. When the second workbook already exists and i run my application, no problem..but when I create a copy and call it something new, Excel finds it hard to open (I am assuming its because of the size) what can i do? thanks |

Hi pm,
My guess is that you are running low on virtual memory. Check your virtual memory allocation in the Control Panel -> System -> Performance tab. To work with workbooks that are this large you probably should have at least 1 GB of disk space allocated to virtual memory.
