Hi,
I've installed Excel 2002, but every time I enter a number in a cell, it gets multiplied by 10. (meaning 7 automatically becomes 70, etc). This is really annoying and it only happens in Excel. Can anybody help me solve this? Thanks! |

long shot and can't think how it would have happened, but do you have fixed decimals (tools>options) set to -1?

..and I bet that there's a FIX indicator on the right hand side of your status bar. Choose the Tools | Options... menu command, click on the Edit tab, and uncheck the "Fixed decimal" box.
