if i minimize excel, only the statusbar can be seen on top of my screen, the remainings of the minimized excel window are out of sight. how can i arrange that the minimzed window will be in the middle of the screen or back on the screen?? hope someone understands the question and can help me. thanks a lot, highly appreciated.

Shark,
If I understand your situation, you must be "restoring down" the XL window and NOT minimizing (since you still have a window). OK, restore down, then drag the colored bar at the top of the window up where you want it. I.e., relocate and resize the window however you like. You can then, maximize, restore, and minimize to check how it looks. Then with it working properly, close out XL completely and then re-open it. It should be working just like you left it the last time. Hope this helps! Wayne |

Also, you could have used the Window | Arrange... menu command.
