How do you keep borders in the data area when changing the page field?

Right click on your PivotTable and choose the Select | Enable Selection command from the popup menu prior to applying your borders.

When I do that, my selection options are different than the "norm." How do I select the data area only... so that when I have a different size pivot I don't get extra lines- or not enough?
(i.e., I change the page area. The Data for a specific area differs from the original....) |

Perhaps I don't understand your question. When you press the Enable Selection button (see my instructions above) you can also press the Data button.
