Hi,
I'm trying to set up a spreadsheet that will download data from a web page and refresh each time it's opened, and then delete duplicates. The data is at the link below and is actually a text delimited file located on the web. http://www.nasdaqtrader.com/dynamic/SymDir/mrktsym.txt I've managed to set up a spreadsheet which already does the text-to-columns part and I can refresh by hitting the exclamation (!) refresh button under the "Data" menu. However, there are lots of duplicate rows for the same company (a new row for each location of the company). I need to get rid of the duplicates -- hopefully automatically each time the spreadsheet is opened and refreshed. Thanks in advance for any help. |
