I have 2 lists of names from two months of payroll runs. Each month has 2-3 payroll runs. So, one employees name may be listed 2 or three or even 4 times depending on how many checks they received each month. I need a formula that will match the names from one months list to the prior months and return a list of only the names it did NOT find. Is this even possible?
Thanks for your help!!! |

Care to post (names anonymized) first 10 rows of one of these lists along with the exact locations (sheet & cell range) of both lists? If inclined to do so, activate an unused cell, type =, select 10 rows including labels, hit F9, Edit|Copy what you see, and past it here in the follow up post. |
