Return new range?

Hi Everyone

I wonder that can we write a funtion with a range parameter and return a new range? For example:
Let's say that I passed a range (10 rows
and 3 columns), to a function

filter(range)

This filter function will removes some rows based on some conditions and return the rang without the removed rows.

Can we do this? Thanks for any help.

depends on what filter criteria you require, but advanced filter will do this, if you pay particular attention to the "criteria" box
