When I open my spreadsheet, which has been fine in the past, Excel opens full screen with menus at top. The work sheets are smaller than the available space and have no minimize/maximize/close buttons. Can anyone advise me how to correct this problem.

Choose the Tools | Protection | Unprotect Workbook... menu command.
