Dear Sirs or Mama’s

I need an =if ( type thing that will return a blank cell if condition is negative

Example: I have C3+G32 in cell D32. however, if cell H32 is negative I need cell D32 to do nothing and return 0 or a blank cell so that it will not be calculated in column D.

Thx.

Hi R W
For 0
=IF(H32<0,0,C3+G32)

Or
For ""
=IF(H32<0,"",C3+G32)

Ivan & Andreas,

I have a perhaps naive question: What is the purpose of the last ">" in the recommended formulas? The formulas are quite simple, except for that element, (or maybe I'm just simple-minded at 6:30 on Saturday morning...)
Thanks!

Hello again.
Yes there is an update, I was actually going
to suggest an update when I viewd your post.

Email Colo or I can send you one...although
it will not be the finalised version as Colo
and I are working on a few other things
seperately and then combining latter.

Bob,

you don't mean "formula ->" do you ?

I thik it's an "arrow" not part of the formula itself....
