Clearing out control characters-Resolved-

If someone could help it would be appreciatted.
I know that there is a function to clear out hidden control characters in a cells value, value that occurred when the information was imported. Does anyone know the method for removing the characters ?

Hi,

Use the CLEAN function

=CLEAN(A1) will remove all unprintable characters from cell A1.

In VBA, it would be WorksheetFunction.Clean()

no idea what it is, but =clean won't remove any char(127)s if you have any, but can always substitute them

(just for info)
