creating column labels

I found the place under insert, name, label to name a range of data, but I'm not sure how to actually get the name to appear at the top of the column. For example, to have a name for my list of data appear under the 'A' at the top of the first column, between that 'A' and the first row. Help me please!!

Let us say you have the following setup in cells B1:B4

CustomerID
A001
A002
B001

To give the range B2:B4, the name CustomerID (in cell B1), highlite B1:B4, then

INSERT|NAME|CREATE and in the dialogbox that pops up, check TOP_ROW in the create names in box.
