I found on this web site (tip of the week) a Bar chart. It's something I have been trying to do for sometime now.
Of course my brain Say's you must modify this thing. So this is my project for the week. (O k one of them anyway) I have added some simple man hr calculations, estimated hrs and actual hrs type stuff. What I need now is to change the colors based on an activity scheduled. Example activity start finish controls 5-20 5-30 chiller 5-25 6-30 Controls would advance bar in red and install chiller would advance in green ect. If I could do this for the three allowed conditions it would work. However, more options would of course be better. I have played with some if then stuff to no avail. I hope that the above will aid you in understanding my goals. And help you help me. Should you need any further info? let me know. Sounds like you need a Gantt chart, not a bar chart. Perhaps something like this:
