I have a simple spreadsheet that has project start time(Formatted for time(hh:mm)) in cell A1, project end time (Formatted for time (hh:mm)) in cell B1, a simple formula to calculate time on project (formatted for time (=b1-A1)) in cell C1, rate of pay (formatted for currency) in D1. I need a formula and format for cell E1 to calculate Project Cost (=C1*D1) gives an incorrect answer when E1 is formatted for currency and obviously I get an incorrect formatt when formatted for time.
