I have calender headings from Jan to Dec in an Excel file. How can I get the current month to highlight. I know how to do the actual formatting but not how to get the formatting to recognise the current month.

Hi Brian.
Use a formula such as...
If the text "MAY" was found in Cell E1, your formatting would be applied. Make sure your condition is "Formula is" and not "Cell Value is". To apply the formatting to like headers, remove the "$" before the "E" and the "1" and use your format brush to apply to other like cells which contain your other months.
